The group sales division of a major hotel chain received group sales leads from multiple sources. To be as competitive as possible, the timing of routing these leads to the appropriate hotel or sales department is of utmost priority. When the sales representatives received phone calls to an 800 number for these leads, often time was limited to provide the data to the appropriate department before the next call came in. This led to missing sales because leads were not sent in a timely manner.
Creating a web form to collect data, the data was then routed directly into the company’s Sales application and routed to the correct sales organization to respond appropriately. Additionally, some of the data was also routed to an external sales lead application to all lead provider and hotels to monitor the progress and result of the sales lead.
