Challenge

Hotels Company regularly acquires hotels from other companies in its normal business process. In order to accommodate guests that have reservations with these hotels, reservations need to be transferred from the existing reservation system to new hotel brand’s reservation system.

Solution

eTac Consulting worked with multiple hotel business teams, to develop a web-based input application to collect reservation information from originating hotels, and a Virtual Robot to input that reservation data into the hotel’s central reservation system.

Results

• 33 hotels, 7878 rooms, 77,782 reservations were transferred to new hotel brand in 10-month period via RPA
• Integrated with client’s workflow application and data collection application
• Application created special rate plans and inventory needed at new property to load reservations
